Ovarian cysts are an enlargement that contains fluid and can be found on the inside or outside of a woman’s ovary. Most women who have these will experience them during the years that they are in the reproductive stage. Health research says that at times they can be painful and for some women can be fatal if they rupture.

There are three common types of cysts that include; luteal ovarian cysts, functional ovarian cysts, and endometrioma cysts. It is important to learn how to identify it and learn how it is caused.

Research shows that more then half of the women with this health condition will experience endometriosis cysts. These will multiply caused by the hormone stimulation during the woman’s menstrual cycle and for some will rupture and induce intense pelvic pain.
